Overview

Invite tasks allow you to reward users for bringing new members into your community. This feature helps you create viral growth and engagement.

Basics

Creating an Invite Task

1. Go to your dashboard and click 'Add task'.
2. Select 'Invites' from the task options.
3. Enter the number of invites required to complete the task.
4. (Optional) Choose a specific quest that invited users must complete.

Customize your invite tasks with these powerful settings:

Consuming Invites

Make each invite single-use:

1. Go to Settings > Security.
2. Find the "Invites" section.
3. Toggle on "Consume invites".

Setting Minimum XP

Ensure quality invites by requiring a minimum XP:

1. Navigate to Settings > Security.
2. Locate "XP for Valid Invite".
3. Set your desired XP threshold (0 = no minimum).

Selecting a Quest

Require invited users to complete a specific quest to give different rewards depending on the type of user you're targeting:

1. While creating or editing an Invite task.
2. Use the "Quest needed to count" dropdown.
3. Select any active quest from your community.

Tracking invites status

To help users track their current invites, there is a button on the invite task that says "Show my invites". Here users can see their active invites, pending invites, and consumed invites, and read a description of the requirements for an invite to count.
